LIMITED
WARRANTY & IMPORTANT PRODUCT CARE INFORMATION
WHAT IS
COVERED?
This warranty covers
manufacturing defects in your mattress, foundation or box
spring. Replacement of one piece does not automatically constitute
the replacement of the other piece. This limited warranty is
provided to the original purchaser. Mattress must be clean, any
stains void warranty.
HOW LONG IS
THE COVERAGE PERIOD?
The warranty coverage
runs from the original date of purchase. Repair or replacement of
the mattress, foundation or box spring does not extend its limited
warranty or begin a new limited warranty period. Your warranty
period is indicated on your mattress product label.
WHAT WILL
iBEDS®
DO?
If your iBEDS®
Mattress, foundation or box spring fails due to a manufacturing
defect, FCHP, Inc. will repair the product. FCHP, Inc.
reserves the right to substitute materials or models of comparable
quality and does not guarantee that the fabric of the replacement
will match the existing piece. Transportation charges are
the responsibility of the consumer.
HOW CAN I GET
SERVICE?
Contact your original iBEDS®
dealer. Copy of proof of date and place of purchase is required to
validate this warranty. Product labels and white law labels must
also be intact to identify the bedding and validate this warranty.
WHAT
IS EXCLUDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY?
This warranty
does not apply to:
·
Normal body
impressions
·
Firmness preference
of the product
·
Cover (fabric)
·
Handles or epaulets
·
Merchandise sold as
“as is” or “floor model”
·
Product that is
shipped outside the United States
·
Weight Exceeding
Spring/BS Specifications
·
MATTRESS ONLY purchases when
not purchased with box spring or foundation. Non-set purchases
receive 1 year coverage against manufacturing defects.
WHAT
CAN VOID THE WARRANTY?
This warranty
does not apply if the mattress or box spring is subjected to obvious
abuse or improper care/maintenance such as but not limited to:
·
Stains, soil or burns of any kind
·
Inadequate
support from weak box springs or improper frame (queen
and king size must have sufficient center support)
·
Upholstery compaction due to insufficient turning and flipping
·
Jumping on the mattress or box spring
·
Bending
Mattress or bent border rod
The following care instructions will help preserve
warranty rights
DO:
·
Do
turn your mattress upside down and end to end regularly. This will
help equalize the compaction of the upholstery materials. The
materials used in this mattress are designed to confirm to your body
and therefore body impressions are not considered a structural defect.
·
Do
use a new matching Universal box spring or foundation. An old box
spring or foundation unit may not provide sufficient support. It may
appear that your mattress is sagging when the problem may be due to a
non-supportive box spring or foundation. Warranties change when
bedding is not purchased as a matched set; please refer to section
explaining what is excluded under the limited warranty.
·
For
queen and king size sets, do use a bed frame that supports
both head and foot as well as a rigid center
support. By not providing a sufficient supportive frame, damaging
can occur to the product and your warranty could be invalid.
·
Do
use a quilted protector pad on your mattress at all times to avoid
stains. Soilage can negate the warranty.
·
Do
carton your mattress when moving it and carry it on its side.
·
Do
read the Important Safety Messages attached to the bottom of your box
spring.
DO
NOT:
·
Do
not smoke in bed; install and maintain smoke detectors in your home.
This mattress is manufactured, as required by federal law, to resist
but not necessarily eliminate ignition when exposed to cigarettes or
open flame.
·
Do
not remove the white law label or the mattress satin model label.
These labels serve as a means of identification to establish your
warranty rights. Missing labels can negate your warranty.
·
Do
not bend or fold, stand or jump on product as damage can occur.
·
Do
not use dry cleaning fluid on your mattress; it will damage some of
the materials.
·
Do
not put a board between your box spring and your mattress.
MATTRESS CARE
INSTRUCTIONS
·
Body
impressions are a normal characteristic of premium bedding and
indicate that the comfort level is conforming to your body. These are
not considered a manufacturing defect. To help equalize these
impressions, please turn and rotate your mattress as part of the
maintenance of the product.
·
Turn
the mattress end-to-end and side to side every 3 weeks for the first 6
months. Turn it every 6 months after that. Turn your box spring
end-to-end every six months.
·
To
avoid damage to the mattress or the risk of personal injury, do not
attempt to turn the mattress by yourself!
·
Vacuum your bedding regularly and otherwise keep it clean.
·
Towel-dry spills immediately, don’t let the bedding get wet.
