An adult loses on average a quarter of a little of body moisture every night. This secretion of moisture - in the form of perspiration, loss of urine etc - causes a clammy sensation and stimulates the production of perspiration, which is not particularly good for a peaceful, comfortable night's sleep.

With CoolMax®, we have developed a mattress which prevents and even totally excludes such discomfort.  CoolMax® mattress fabric is made from Dacron®, a fibre with unique, fast-drying properties which has already amply proved its advantages in professional sportswear.

CoolMax® is highly permeable by air and has a high heat-regulating capacity, making it an ideal mattress fabric. The hexagonal structure of the fibres ensures that any moisture released during sleep is immediately carried to the external surface of the fabric, where it soon evaporates.  Perspiration is reduced, and the body remains pleasantly cool.

Moisture-control tests have shown that CoolMax® dries considerably faster than other more absorbent fabrics. CoolMax® fabrics were completely dry after barely 30 minutes, whereas cotton still contained 50% of the moisture after the same time.

CoolMax® also prevents the formation of stains. And because it is not treated with chemicals or laminates or electrostatically, the moisture regulating properties remain intact even after umpteen washes.

Know what is inside your mattress. The mattress cover is zippered to allow you see inside and give you the option to dry clean the cover.     

Your iBEDS^® Cool Max^® latex mattress will be made using a 6" Talalay Latex mattress core (30 - 34 ILD) and an additional 2" soft (14 - 16 ILD) Talalay comfort layer for a total of 8" of latex.
